Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
It should not be possible for the board to e.g. remove all members of a given group from the association before an election. Member status removal should come with a "grace period" that still allow participating in votes (for voting members), allowing board overreach to be counteracted by a no-confidence vote from association members if necessary.
